Lowertown Run Club Rules

We’re here to run, have fun, and be good humans. To keep things safe, inclusive, and respectful, please follow these simple rules:

1. Respect Others – Always

Be kind and encouraging to fellow runners, pedestrians, and the community.

Leave no one behind—check in on new or struggling runners.

Be inclusive: all paces, faces, and backgrounds are welcome.

2. Obey All Traffic Laws

Stop at red lights, use crosswalks, and yield to vehicles.

Run against traffic when on roads without sidewalks.

Headphones are fine, but stay aware of your surroundings.

3. Stay on Legal, Public Routes

Do not trespass on private property, gated trails, or restricted areas.

Stick to public sidewalks, trails, and roads designated for foot traffic.

4. Be Visible and Safe

If running in low light, wear reflective gear or lights.

Call out obstacles, cars, or turns to runners behind you.

Hydrate and know your limits—this is for fun!

5. Respect the Spaces We Use

Don’t litter. Pack out your trash (and maybe one extra bottle).

Be polite to business owners, neighbors, and anyone we encounter.

Support our host, Lowertown Bar & Cafe, when you can.

6. No Jerks Allowed

Harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior won’t be tolerated.

This is a positive space—keep the vibe good or head out.

Let’s keep the run social, the pace fun, and the streets safe. See you out there!
